Subject [betwixt] Pre-registration of multi mappings with BeanReaders
Date Wed, 24 Jan 2007 17:21:31 GMT
Hi,

I try to improve performance of my application using Apache betwixt 0.8.

I'm already instantiating XMLInspector only once and only set it in my
BeanReaders. I tried to further improve this by using
XMLInspector.register() instead of calling
BeanReaders.registerMultiMapping() every time I instantiate a
BeanReader. The javadoc comment seems to suggest that this is possible.

However, just calling XMLInspector.register() doesn't seem to be enough
for BeanReaders. Looking at the code, I can see that BeanReader also
registers the classes with itself. BeanWriters are fine.

What would be proper code to pre-register multi mappings with
XMLInspector, so that a BeanReader will be happy with it?

Thanks
Andreas

P.S. Sorry for the long signature. Can't turn this off
