Subject [tiles] How to get tiles-def.xml context?
Date Fri, 02 Jun 2006 20:53:45 GMT
So here is my tiles-defs.xml:

<tiles-definitions>

      <definition name="default"
path="/jsp/layouts/default/mastertemplate.jsp">

            <put name="header" value="/jsp/layouts/default/header.jsp"
/>

            <put name="mainbody"
value="/jsp/layouts/default/mainbody.jsp"/>

            <put name="footer" value="/jsp/layouts/default/footer.jsp"
/>

            <put name="module1" value="/jsp/modules/module1.jsp" />

      </definition>

      <definition name="custom1" extends="default">

            <put name="mainbody" value="/jsp/layouts/custom1.jsp" />

            <put name="module1alt" value="/jsp/modules/module1.jsp" />

      </definition>

</tiles-definitions>

Notice I am reusing module1.jsp. Inside module1.jsp, I would like to do
a switch based on both definition name, and attribute
name;default/custom1 and module1/module1alt.

Now in a random jsp page that calls the definition custom1 or default,
how can I get the definition and specific attribute from inside
module1.jsp in the form of jsp variables?

Thanks for any help you can provide.
