Subject RE: [fileupload] File upload from Windows to Unix - need to remove carriage return
Date Mon, 03 Apr 2006 19:28:14 GMT
Hi again,

I am trying to upload a file (text or excel) from Windows to Unix. It gets uploaded fine but
the file has carriage return charaters at the end of each line. How do I get rid of them?
Due to this, my code is not able to read the file.

thanks & regards,
AN

Hi,

you also have to include "IO" from Jakarte Commons to your classpath.
The missing class
"org/apache/commons/io/output/DeferredFileOutputStream" is in this package.

You find the package here: http://jakarta.apache.org/commons/io/

Greets,

Sven

PS: Please prefix your subject with [fileupload]
