Subject DBCP problem
Date Wed, 14 Dec 2005 08:56:31 GMT
Hi,

I've a problem with DBCP and Oracle.
I need to configure a connection pool for Oracle by JNDI on Tomcat 5.
I've to use this connection with Hibernate 3.

My configuration file is this:

        <Resource name="jdbc/manifesti" auth="Container"
type="javax.sql.DataSource"/>

        <ResourceParams name="jdbc/manifesti">
            <parameter>
                    <name>factory</name>

<value>org.apache.commons.dbcp.BasicDataSourceFactory</value>
            </parameter>
              <parameter>
                <name>driverClassName</name>
                <value>oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver</value>
            </parameter>
            <parameter>
                <name>url</name>
                <value>jdbc:oracle:thin:@10.10.21.5:1521:test</value>
            </parameter>
            <parameter>
                <name>username</name>
                <value>user</value>
            </parameter>
            <parameter>
                <name>password</name>
                <value>pwd</value>
            </parameter>
            <parameter>
                <name>maxActive</name>
                <value>3</value>
            </parameter>
            <parameter>
                <name>maxIdle</name>
                <value>2</value>
            </parameter>
            <parameter>
                <name>maxWait</name>
                <value>1</value>
            </parameter>
            <parameter>
                          <name>removeAbandoned</name>
                          <value>true</value>
                    </parameter>
            <parameter>
                          <name>removeAbandonedTimeout</name>
                          <value>60</value>
                    </parameter>
            <parameter>
                          <name>logAbandoned</name>
                          <value>true</value>
            </parameter>

            <parameter>
                          <name>validationQuery</name>
                          <value>select 2 from dual</value>
            </parameter>
            <parameter>
                          <name>whenExhaustedAction</name>
                          <value>2</value>
            </parameter>
            <parameter>
                          <name>testOnBorrow</name>
                          <value>true</value>
            </parameter>
            <parameter>
                          <name>testOnReturn</name>
                          <value>false</value>
            </parameter>
        </ResourceParams>

I'd like to configure directly the type of the result set as:
ResultSet.TYPE_SCROLL_INSENSITIVE

Can I do it??

Thank you
