This method would be of great help to all of us.

I also made the suggestion to the Spring team a few weeks ago and they have already added
this method in the new production version (1.2.6).

This is funny, this is EXACTLY what I whised to have 5 minutes ago.

This might also be usable if you try to copy "instrumented" (cglib 
enhanced) beans.
Even if source and target are instrumented I would like to copy only the 
properties of your "editableScope"
