Subject Re: [Math] org.apache.commons.math.stat.descriptive.DescriptiveStatisticsImpl threadsafe?

Sorry for the delay in responding.

In short, no, DescriptiveStatisticsImpl is not thread-safe. By design, we
chose not to introduce thread semantics into the classes. This allows the
library to be used in environments were thread management by the application
is to be avoided.

This question has been posed before, so we will likely introduce something
soon to address the need.
