Thanks, at least i know i'm not crazy. I will try to look into it
harder. I was previously using my own homespun file upload program, and
it was breaking, so i figured i'd try the commons version. still broken.
the way my program was reacting i thought it had to do with the boundies
and the end of line characters.  if i find anything i'll let you know.
