Subject [logging] compatibility problems with log4j 1.1.3
Date Thu, 14 Aug 2003 16:22:59 GMT
I wanted to confirm some versioning issues with commons-logging.

When attempting to run with commons-logging 1.0.3 and log4j-1.1.3, I
receive the following exception

org.apache.commons.logging.LogConfigurationException: No suitable Log
constructor [Ljava.lang.Class;@19efb05 for

commons-logging 1.0.2 does not give this exception.

Is this a known issue? If so, if there any documentation discussing the
compatibility issues with commons-logging and log4j?

Thanks in advance for any info.
