Not really, because it's not going to be useful to you.  The code for SSL
looks identical to the code for not using SSL since HttpClient handles SSL
automatically when you give it a https URL.  I guess you've tried this and
are running into a problem.  The most common cause of this is that you don't
have the right dependencies, in particular you will need JSSE installed (and
possibly JCE but I don't think so).

The other common problem is that with some versions of Java self-signed
certificates are not accepted (there would have been a very informative
message about this).  You'll want to take a look at the code in contrib that
deals with this:

Other than that, I can't really help unless you let me know what's going
wrong.
