    Since the pull request aims to refactor and to clean the code I think it makes sense.
Speaking of unchecked exceptions in 'throws' clause they are backward compatible since the
developers don't need either catch or declare them. I may have missed something in terms of
backward compatibility and if you don't you mind pointing it out to me I would appreciate
it.
