I guess you mean [Double.hashCode(double)|https://docs.oracle.com/javase/8/docs/api/java/lang/Double.html#hashCode-double-],
which exists only since Java 8.
If so, we should just be sure that {{Commons Numbers}} will not target earlier versions of
Java; something to be acknowledged on the "dev" ML.
