Gilles commented on MATH-1290:
------------------------------

bq. assuming we're trying to merge Eric's feature-MATH-1290 into the main apache commons-math
develop branch

Well, no. I am only trying to update branch "origin/feature-MATH-1290" with code provided
by Eric through a "pull request".
In my comment just above yours, I've stated what I think is the appropriate sequence.

The unclear thing for me is the part with the "pull" command using a URL argument: Which exact
command can I run in order to get the patch from Eric's repository?

I don't see why I should fetch all branches from Eric's repository and figure out by myself
which branch is the one I'm looking for: Eric could have given any name to his working copy
of the "origin/feature-MATH-1290" branch.
It's hard to believe that using "git" would amount to track all branches of all contributors...

> I propose to add several new methods to the ComplexUtils class enabling easy conversion
between Complex[] arrays, real or imaginary double[] or float[] arrays, and interleaved complex
double[] or float[] arrays. The last two in particular are beneficial to have for OpenCL implementations
and the JTransforms library.
