Subject [jira] [Commented] (NET-511) 0.0.0.0/0 CIDR check fails in subnet utils

Daniel Scott commented on NET-511:
----------------------------------

Hi,

I added a few tests, but IPs which are correctly in the range fail the 'isInRange' test when
the subnet is '0.0.0.0/0'. I took a look at the code, but fixing it goes far beyond what I
need right now.

Looks like it needs fixing in getAddressCount and getAllAddresses as well as isInRange.

Thanks,

Dan

> The following example in SubnetUtils fails:
> SubnetUtils utils = new SubnetUtils("0.0.0.0/0")
> utils.getInfo().isInRange(anyValidIpAddress);
> As '0.0.0.0/0' is within the IPv4 specification, it should be supported.
