Subject [jira] [Created] (SCXML-178) Initial state ID attribute in SCXML element shouldn't be mandatory
Date Thu, 28 Nov 2013 05:16:36 GMT
Woonsan Ko created SCXML-178:
--------------------------------

Summary: Initial state ID attribute in SCXML element shouldn't be mandatory
                 Key: SCXML-178
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SCXML-178
             Project: Commons SCXML
          Issue Type: Bug
            Reporter: Woonsan Ko
            Assignee: Woonsan Ko
             Fix For: 2.0

Currently, if the top level SCXML element doesn't have 'initial' attribute, SCXMLReader fails
to parse the SCXML document.
The latest spec [1] says the 'initial' attribute is not required, and "If not specified, the
default initial state is the first child state in document order."
