Subject [jira] [Created] (IO-306) ReaderInputStream#read(byte[] b, int off, int len) should always return 0 for length == 0
Date Tue, 13 Mar 2012 17:26:50 GMT
ReaderInputStream#read(byte[] b, int off, int len) should always return 0 for length == 0
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: IO-306
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/IO-306
             Project: Commons IO
          Issue Type: Bug
            Reporter: Sebb

The method read(byte[] b, int off, int len) should always return 0 if the requested length
== 0, even if the stream is empty or at EOF, as that is how the overridden java.io.InputStream
method is documented to behave.
