Subject [jira] [Commented] (SANDBOX-335) [Graph] Graph Coloring: Backtracking algorithm
Date Mon, 04 Jul 2011 07:05:21 GMT

Marco Speranza commented on SANDBOX-335:

Ciao Simo,

I used {{Collection.shuffle}} only for randomize the color ordering, but, thinking a little
more you're right, I put an implementation detail into APIs design. I just modified the patch
adding the {{Set}} interface for the colors and I deleted the boolean variable {{randomizeColor}}.

thanks a lot for your review

Ciao ;)

> Here is an little enhancement for graph coloring problem. I implemented an bruteforce
algorithm that uses the backtracking technique to find the exact solution for the m-coloring
problem (m is the maximum number of usable colors).
