Luc Maisonobe resolved MATH-429.
--------------------------------

    Resolution: Fixed

Fixed in subversion repository as of r1026666 for branche 2.X and as of r1026667 for trunk.
Users can now choose among four different strategies to deal with empty clusters:

* split the cluster with largest distance variance,
* split the cluster with largest number of points,
* create a cluster around the point farthest from its centroid,
* generate an error

The default is to split according to largest variance.

Thanks for reporting the issue.
