Design of Pipeline class slightly unhelpful -> IllegalStateException
--------------------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: SANDBOX-327
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SANDBOX-327
             Project: Commons Sandbox
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: Pipeline
            Reporter: Harald Kirsch

Although it is more or less obvious that no stages should be added after Pipeline.start()
was called, I cannot find this in the docs. If I try it, I get my kick in the but immediately
with an IllegalStageException.

May I suggest to separate creating and using a pipeline into two separate classes such that
no such IllegalStateException is even possible?

Harald Kirsch
