I don't like the idea that the behavior should be specific to any particular provider. Actually,
I would prefer if the FileType could be HIDDEN for these files instead of IMAGINARY. The problem
with the change above is that if the parent directory really doesn't exist it needs to be
created. Can you see if there is some way that could be done?
