The builder API would be a chaining API like you've shown above, but I think I'd like to introduce
the idea of a "selector" for things such as text value of the element or attribute value of
an element:

builder.forPath("/persons/person").createObject(Person.class).setProperty("firstName", attribute("fname"));

This is just off the top of my head.
