Subject [jira] Commented: (SCXML-108) Add <script> and EcmaScript + E4X support

Ingmar Kliche commented on SCXML-108:
-------------------------------------

There are basically two implementations of <script> out there. One is based on the J6
API and another (which is discussed in this ISSUE) is based on Mozilla Rhino (i.e. has some
external dependencies).

What I see from http://svn.apache.org/viewvc?view=rev&revision=793421 (which are the changes
made based on the implementation provided here), ist that the Serializer, Parser, Executor,
etc have not been changed.

If you look at the patch https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/attachment/12407028/090501_oacs_script_and_rhino.patch.txt
you'll see, that various changes have been made to the core components (parser, serialzer,
executor,...) to support the <script> element. Among others these changes cover <script>
element as a child of <scxml>.

Hence it means that the necessary changes have not been applied to the branch yet. I don't
know what Rahul's plans are. But you may try to use the patch.
