Subject [jira] Updated: (VFS-182) Usage of FTP with heterogene FTP server (possibility of using Ascii file type)
Date Mon, 24 Nov 2008 09:12:44 GMT

Magnus Axelsson updated VFS-182:

    Attachment: vfs-182_allow_ascii_file_type.diff

I have the same difficulties as Bastin. EBCDIC and mainframe computers require ascii file

I propose this patch as a solution.
Binary file type is still default to maintain backward compatibility.

to Ascii. The navigation in the directory and the filesystem work properly but the accessing
of a data file is not possible.
