Benjamin Bentmann commented on COMMONSSITE-28:
----------------------------------------------

I just tried the Checkstyle plugin for Eclipse but so far have not found a way to reuse the
{{checkstyle.xml}} to setup a formatter :( Just raised feature request [#1952686|http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1952686&group_id=80344&atid=559497]
for this, guess that's the easier way to go.

> Projects or preferably the entire Commons suite should define code styles that can be
imported into popular IDEs like Eclipse or IDEA such that contributers can easily follow the
desired formatting rules. Compare [Maven Code Style|http://maven.apache.org/developers/committer-environment.html#Maven_Code_Style].
