It's the usual argument.

A: Here's a class
B: It doesn't belong in Lang
A: It's too small to be its own component
B: Go put it in X
A: It doesn't fit in X (for example, XML Commons does not have somewhere for this, and is a project being removed).
B: Not in Lang.

Too right that Lang shouldn't be a catch all for everything else, but we also need to let th conversation continue on what ideas people have.

Not in Lang has positives - it can be JDK 1.6+ etc :) So, what methods were you thinking of Ahmed?
