-------------------------------------

Hi Bjorn,

Thanks for your replay. I am repeating the process of logging in and logging out every one
second. almost Half the times everything works ok and I receive the goodbye response from
the server after ftp.logout() but sometimes this exception happens. does this indicate anything?

could you please give me a hint about how I can capture the packet dump?

Thanks,
Arash

> Hi all,
> I have a small class that just logs into a FTP serever and then Logs out
> I tried both of the following lines for logging out
>       1. ftp.logout();
>       2. ftp.sendCommand("quit");
> and they both cause this exception:
> Connected to www.ideas.ie.

> Any suggestions ?
> Does ftp.disconnect has the same effect as logging out ? Because disconnect function
works allright.
