I got a lovely clean build from 186df0c36981a308338792f02d93fc59776b0b7c using mvn clean install
on

Apache Maven 3.5.0 (ff8f5e7444045639af65f6095c62210b5713f426; 2017-04-03T15:39:06-04:00)
Java version: 1.8.0_65, vendor: Oracle Corporation
OS name: "mac os x", version: "10.12.6", arch: "x86_64", family: "mac"

NOTICE and LICENSE present, although the NOTICE has "Copyright 2015-2016", which I think we
can update...
