The tag is used to create the source release.

Does it make sense for the pom in the source archive to point to trunk?
I think not.

The problem here is that the site is trying to fulfil two purposes:
- document the current release(s)
- document the current code.

As such, a single definition in the POM cannot be correct for both.

However, it would be trivial to copy the tag to a branch and fix the
URLs for the site build.
