I was unaware that there is official work being done for generics. This is
excellent news.

I've taken my first look at trunk & jira. I have a potential solution for . See my comment on
the issue.

Another question:
I presume that I would need an officer of my company (and myself) to sign: . Is this correct? Is this all that
is needed to protect the ASF?
