OK, in that case ProcrunService will still compile under Java 1.3.

However, I've just discovered that  SimpleApplication and SimpleDaemon
use PrintStream(OutputStream, boolean, String) which is not available
in 1.3.

They could be made compatible by dropping the "US-ASCII" charset parameter.
