www... is the location for the latest releases. It should contain the
latest release and the latest stable release (these may be the same
release) for each release branch. Older releases should be cleaned out
with each new release.

For example, with the recent commons-pool release only commons-pool-1.5
should be available via www.

If pool-2.0 was the next pool release, 1,5 and 2.0 would sit
side-by-side on www.

archive... is generated automatically from www and contains every
release ever made. It should not be modified. Again, using commons-pool
as an example, every pool release should be on archive.
