Subject RE: Commons Net 1.4.x Service Release?
Date Mon, 21 Jan 2008 15:08:28 GMT
Hello Rory,

it's been some time since we've had contact regarding
a commons net 1.4.x service release.

In fact I have applied the patches mentioned below
that we needed to our own branch of commons net, and
deployed them with Eclipse. So yes, these patches are
tested and known to be good.

Eclipse is now going the next round of release train,
and I'd be interested to get these fixes into an
officially released version. It looks like others
need such a patch version too:

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NET-68?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=12559761#action_12559761
]

Is there a chance to get a commons net 1.4.x release
any time soon?

Thanks,
