In Lang's case, it's more of a playground than an active release branch.

I was experimenting to see how much could be removed due to either
deprecation or being out of date. Next up would be thinking about
where we should be using generics (should be a much simpler question
than for Collections), varargs (probably quite a few places) and other
features.

JIRA has a LangTwo version with the various ideas in, many without
code. It's all very much at the ideas stage for a roadmap, rather than
a defined list of things to do. If we don't have a huge number of
valid API changes, then we'll do a 3.0 and work around the API pain.

Mostly I've been focusing on Lang 2.4, so will need to figure out how
to merge that onto LangTwo when 2.4 releases (waiting on the parent
pom release).
