Subject [jira] Commented: (VALIDATOR-232) Add script attribute to control script generation
Date Wed, 11 Jul 2007 04:22:04 GMT

Paul Benedict commented on VALIDATOR-232:

You make a good point in regards to the field's ability to be scriptable regardless of the
Validator. However, since it is obvious that the Validator does not control the browser's
scripting capabilities, there is nothing wrong with using the word's plain meaning: is this
field, as defined by the validator, configured to allow scripting? But granted, how long can
such a debate go on? It's a matter of perspective, I suppose. In any event, I suppose we'll
stick with our opinions until a better word comes along.
