This is not what one would want. 
- Rolling back the connection after a validation query makes a functional
difference to not rolling back the connection (uncommitted changes before the
connection was given back into the pool would be treated differently.) It is
totally unintuitive to the user that this functional change would be made on the
condition that autocommit is false and testOnBorrow is true.
- Not allowing autocommit==false and useOnBorrow==true is much worse. It is a
perfectly valid combination, and is probably used by a lot of people.
