Could be room for both; or I am OK replacing the CompositeIdentifierGenerator
with this.  The use cases that I have run into have involved a random part and a
sequential part; or a date/time plus sequential, which could not be done this
way; or (not covered by either of these) a random part followed by a hash (with
salt) of the first part so the id could be verified to be authentic.  It is a
little awkward to introduce a "ConstantIdentifierGenerator" to make the
Composite setup work for the special case of prefix / suffix.  

What do others think about these?
