------- Additional Comments From joerg.heinicke@gmx.de 2005-08-17 17:01 -------
Argh! This breaks the static methods again which I thought was a bug in older
Janino and fixed in 2.3.8:

error(1):TestStatic.java (12:16) : File TestStatic.java, Line 12, Column 16: No
applicable constructor/method found for actual parameters "char[], char";
candidates are: "void java.util.Arrays.fill(char[], int, int, char)", "void
java.util.Arrays.fill(double[], double)", "void java.util.Arrays.fill(double[],
int, int, double)", "void java.util.Arrays.fill(int[], int, int, int)", "void
java.util.Arrays.fill(long[], int, int, long)", "void
java.util.Arrays.fill(byte[], int, int, byte)", "void
java.util.Arrays.fill(float[], int, int, float)", "void
java.util.Arrays.fill(long[], long)", "void java.util.Arrays.fill(float[],
float)", "void java.util.Arrays.fill(short[], int, int, short)", "void
java.util.Arrays.fill(java.lang.Object[], int, int, java.lang.Object)", "void
java.util.Arrays.fill(boolean[], int, int, boolean)", "void
java.util.Arrays.fill(java.lang.Object[], java.lang.Object)", "void
java.util.Arrays.fill(byte[], byte)", "void java.util.Arrays.fill(int[], int)",
"void java.util.Arrays.fill(char[], char)", "void
java.util.Arrays.fill(boolean[], boolean)", "void java.util.Arrays.fill(short[],
short)"

So, what is more important: dependent classes or static methods ;-)

I will continue investigation ...
