Hi,

I'm talking about commons-configuration-1.1.jar which I downloaded one month
ago, and I had to patch my xml configuration to use elements instead of
attributes. So Yes, in my version the problem is the oposite of yours.

I will re-download svn version ensuring which version it is, and then give you
some more hint (like a full example with the jar I use). 

I will also check the code to see if my version has the
PropertyConverter.split() somewhere in the call sequence just to be sure.

I will do this in about two weeks, I'm going on holidays tomorrow, and NO I'm
not g33k enough to take my portable with me ;D
