I was going Diff this to but I'm working on a version of the DefaultFileMonitor
that abstracts away the object storage mechanism. The default method would still
use the Hashtable, and for a few thousand files it works. I was testing it with
~112,000 (my home directory) and Java ran out of memory. I was considering
closing this and then sending the Diff for the version I'm working on instead
when it works properly.
