Have you looked at http://just4log.sourceforge.net? It looks to me like adding the just4log ant task as a final step in your ant builds should achieve what you want. (This project is referenced from the commons-logging wiki pages). I'm also wondering whether java1.5 "varargs" functionality is backward-compatible, ie whether varargs methods compiled using java1.5 can then be called from code compiled using earlier JVMs? Commons projects do ship with code that won't compile *but will run* on 1.1 or 1.2; maybe a 1.5 dependency would be acceptable if it is backward-compatible and brings a significant benefit... -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: commons-dev-unsubscribe@jakarta.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: commons-dev-help@jakarta.apache.org
