I think those with a slow connection and only interested in picking 
quickly a single jar with go directly to Ibiblio. Even without the 
dependencies the binary distribution is too heavy, one may not require 
the documentation (that's 74% of the binary distribution of Digester for 
example)

Bundling all dependencies in a single archive is an interesting added 
value IMHO. Hunting missing jars after encountering several 
NoClassDefFoundExceptions at runtime is a waste of time.
