Summary: extra byte in WRQ TFTP packet
           Product: Commons
           Version: 1.2 Final
          Platform: Sun
        OS/Version: Solaris
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Net
        AssignedTo: commons-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: gerard.dens@alcatel.be

I obeserved that each tftp "write request" packet had two bytes with value x00
at the end of the packet.
e.g: 00 02 2f 6d 69 62 2f 63 6f 6e 66 69 67 00 6e 65 74 61 73 63 69 69 00 00

My tftp server (tftp4java) rejects this type WRQ packets.
I checked the RFC1350 and there I found:

2 bytes string 1 byte string 1 byte
          -----------------------------------------------
   RRQ/ | 01/02 | Filename | 0 | Mode | 0 |
   WRQ -----------------------------------------------

Gerard.
