Subject [pool] Compilation under 1.5: enum keyword
Date Wed, 30 Jun 2004 06:35:22 GMT
I recently compiled commons-pool under JDK1.5 without a problem
except for two files:

/src/java/org/apache/commons/pool/impl/StackKeyedObjectPool.java
/src/java/org/apache/commons/pool/impl/StackObjectPool.java

These two files use the new 1.5 keyword 'enum' in an enumeration.
A shallow fix is to simply rename the variable to 'enm' or something.
A deeper fix might be to use iterator() method. I'm happy to contribute
a patch which enables clean 1.5 compilation, but assuming the
shallow fix is desired, it is pretty straightforward. Please email me
directly if you (Dirk?) would like the diffs.

Thanks for the pooling classes!
