Hi

Try running the following command in your vfs directory:

cvs -d ":pserver:anoncvs@cvs.apache.org:/home/cvspublic" log -d 
"2004-04-22<2004-05-23"

I just tried to build vfs site and it works, so it's not a server side 
problem.
