Subject RE: [beanutils][cli][dbcp][el][modeler] Build issues with Maven.
Date Fri, 09 Apr 2004 19:47:54 GMT

Hi,
It's great that you're going through all the projects.

I for one have gotten the beanutils and cli unit test failures for a
long time, so you can be fairly sure they don't have to do with this
commons-build issue. EL I haven't worked with.

For modeler, starting from a clean CVS checkout, doing maven jar with
maven 1.0-rc2, I get "no java source files to compile." The full maven
output is below:

java:prepare-filesystem:
    [mkdir] Created dir:
/x1/home/yoavs/cvs/jakarta-commons/modeler/target/classes

java:compile:
    [echo] Compiling to
/x1/home/yoavs/cvs/jakarta-commons/modeler/target/classes
[echo] No java source files to compile.

java:jar-resources:

test:prepare-filesystem:

/x1/home/yoavs/cvs/jakarta-commons/modeler/target/test-classes
    [mkdir] Created dir:
/x1/home/yoavs/cvs/jakarta-commons/modeler/target/test-reports

test:test-resources:

test:compile:
[echo] No test source files to compile.

test:test:
    [echo] No tests to run.

jar:jar:
    [jar] Building jar:
/x1/home/yoavs/cvs/jakarta-commons/modeler/target/commons-modeler-1.1.ja
r

If I had to guess, I'd say I need to modify the <build> section of
modeler's project.xml. Right?
