The javadoc for getColumnLabel() is rather vague:
"Gets the designated column's suggested title for use in printouts and displays."

This doesn't mention aliasing which leads me to believe that drivers may
implement this differently.  Besides, getColumnName() returns the aliased name
on the drivers I've used (DB2, Postgres) so it's not really an issue there. 
What driver are you using?  If it doesn't return the aliased name, you can
always override BeanProcessor.mapColumnsToProperties() to use getColumnLabel()
instead.  You'll need a nightly build for that because BeanProcessor was added
after DbUtils 1.0.
