I've read the documents that Robert Burrell Donkin has indicated in his email 
and am now prepared to serve as "release manager" for commons-net release 
1.2.0.  

As detailed in previous messages, this release will introduce the ftp 
auto-detection scheme and the ability to designate an ftp parser by class 
name, as well as other changes that have been made since the last release.  
It will not contain the refactorings of the ftp parser system that have been 
discussed and generally conceded to be a good idea.  The timing of this 
release is being partly determined by timing of ant version 1.6.1, which will 
use the enhancements in this version of net.

[vote] Steve Cohen to manage release of version 1.2.0 of commons-net 
containing essentially the current content of the HEAD branch.
