Enum/ValueEnum class needs functionality to load values from a properties file

------- Additional Comments From apacheBugzilla@AMammenT.cotse.net 2003-11-03 17:53 -------
As I understand it, oacl.Enum was put together to provide support for the java
typesafe enum pattern
(http://developer.java.sun.com/developer/Books/effectivejava/Chapter5.pdf -
Item 21).

The usage proposed here simply overloads this implementation to obtain typed
objects (associated with values) which have the same signature as the Enum
type, but aren't really meant to be used for the pattern described above, but
which are essentially accessed only by name or value, and never used, anywhere
in the code base, at compile time.

I think this might be useful functionality, and perhaps worth thinking about
as a separate contribution, but not, I think, as an addition or overload of
the Enum pattern.
