I've committed a Maven Generated version of build.xml. We should see 
this evening if the automated build process is successfully with the 
added dependencies, I've tested it from the command line on my machine 
with success.

With this the case build.properties.sample is no longer relevant, I am 
tempted to remove or alter its contents to more accurately represent 
what can be set. I suspect this could contain examples of how to set the 
location of the lib directory among other things.
