FYI

Had investigated a little more on this. There are 2 problems with the test 
setup:
- The TestDriver does not check for user/password i.e. it always returns a 
valid connection. 
- The order in which the tests are run is very important. To test the reported 
problem, this particular user should not have been used before. And then, the 
first attempt should be with an incorrect password, followed by a correct one.

Feel the patch might be valid - but definitely needs a once over from someone 
more familiar with the codebase...
