Have attached a patch which allows one to simulate the stack trace in jdk1.4.

Added a couple of boolean attributes:
1) topDown - [true] prints the stack top down
2) trimStackFrames - [true] removes the repeated frames in nested exceptions

Also added a method to ExceptionUtils to detect if Throwable class has a 
getCause method. If so, the printStackTrace just uses that. 

The way it is implemented right now, the output looks very garbled in jdk1.4...
